Austrian Helmets:

Austro-Hungarian Sun Helmet

The body of these Austrian-made sun helmets is of woven straw with a thin khaki-colored cotton covering. The helmet features the Austrian-style steel helmet chinstrap, and the rosette of Emperor Karl.

These helmets were used by the Austro-Hungarian forces in the Palestine Front. These helmets were reportedly made by the Viennese firm P. & C. Habig, while German-made and captured British-made helmets were also used.
